ECHNOCRATS PLASMA SYSTEMS PVT. LTD. (TPSPL) WAS BORN AS “TECHNOCRATS”
in the year 1990 as a partnership company by Mr. Arun Kumar who was working as a Scientist for "BARC". Starting from the scratch in the real sense of the term, a new generation, Air Plasma Cutting Machine with Thyristorised Current Control was introduced in the market. In order for cutting 150mm thick steel was awarded by M/S Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory after they had evaluated all other options including Physical trials. 

Based on the response & suggestions received from customers Plasma Welding, Micro Plasma Welding & range of energy efficient welding equipments were develop for MMA, TIG, AC/DC TIG, MIG/MAG & Submerged Arc Welding applications. 

"TPSPL" was first to introduce all Indian IGBT Based Inverterised Machines in the country in the year 1996. Automation division was started in the year 2007.
